I. PROMO PERIOD

- The promo runs from November 30, 2011 to September 1, 2012.


II. HOW TO JOIN

  1. 1. The promo is open to all interested participants (male or female, 16 years of age and above, residing in the Philippines) who are existing eYP account holders and have registered to participate in the promo. For non-eYP account holders, they may still join the promo by creating an eYP account at www.eYP.ph and registering to the promo. To qualify, participants should have registered for the promo within the promo duration (November 30, 2011 to September 1, 2012).
  2. 2. To participate in the eYP Search Olympics Promo, participants need to choose among the list of businesses that are on the eYP website (www.eYP.ph).
    1. Accessing the eYP site and registering for the promo:

      An interested participant who has an existing eYP account has to log-in to his/her account and access the link to the promo by clicking on the Promo Tab located on the eYP site.
      1. Typing in: www.eYP.ph on the URL on the search bar to visit the website.
      2. Log-in to the account using his/her account name and password.
      3. Once there, users should click the Promo Tab button to access the eYP Search Olympics Online Tagging Promo Page.
      4. Make sure to read the full mechanics and register to join.
      5. To register, the participant needs to fill up the following required details:
        1. Complete Name of Participant
        2. Complete Address
        3. Valid Email Address
        4. Birthdate
        5. Contact number (Landline/Mobile)
    2. Sending and Earning Entries
      1. Visit the eYP Promo Page during the promo period (www.eyp.ph/searcholympics)
      2. Search for listed establishments that are part of the Search-O-lympics Online Tagging campaign
      3. Tag the establishment by submitting appropriate keywords that would describe the products/services of the establishment. A tag may be a word or group of words that describes the products and/or services of the establishment that he/she is identifying. Each unique tag would be equivalent to one (1) raffle entry. A participant can earn raffle entries for up to 3 approved tags per establishment. A participant earns a raffle entry only upon approval of the submitted tag.
      4. A participant may also wish to upload a photo of himself/herself at the store or a photo of the products/services related to the store and “tag” with appropriate labels. Each valid photo entry submitted is equivalent to five (5) raffle entries. A participant can earn raffle entries for up to 3 approved photos per establishment. A participant earns appropriate raffle entries only upon approval of the submitted photo. Photos should have a maximum file size of 1MB.
      5. A participant may earn more entries when the establishment that they have chosen to tag are located in the following areas:
        1. Commercial area within Major Chain of Malls = x1
          - Establishments within Major Malls (i.e.: Ayala Centers, SM Malls, Robinson's Malls, Gaisano Malls, Pacific Malls)
        2. Commercial area Outside of Malls but within Commercial Area= x2
          - Establishments within the City but outside Malls (i.e.: Wilson Greenhills Area, Binondo Manila stores, Goldilocks along Valero St. Makati, Hardware store along Sucat Road, Paranaque)
        3. Non-commercial area (Residential Area) = x5
          - Establishments that are in residential areas. Stand alone establishments that are not part of a huge chain. (i.e.: Nature's Touch Flower Shop in Poblacion Makati City, Balloon City in New Zuniga Mandaluyong City)
        4. A participant will receive the corresponding electronic raffle entry/ies after EYP posts the approved photos/tags. Approval and posting of the photos/tags is within 24 hours from time of submission.
  3. 3. There will be manual checking of tags posted to avoid repetitive posts and multiple tags. Each tag and photo posted will be pre-screened by EYP before it will be uploaded on the EYP site business listing to avoid repetitive posts and multiple entries. Entries will be screened sequentially based on time of submission. If two or more participants submit the exact same tag, they will each be given an entry for the said tag. However, if the same participant sent the same tag more than once, he/she will only earn only entry for that tag. If two participants submit the exact same photo, corresponding entries will be awarded to the participant who submitted the photo first.
  4. 4. All entries submitted should be unique and original to the participant. All participants should have ownership rights over the entries that they will submit to the promo. (Ex.: Several photos of the same item taken in different angles and uploaded by 1 person will be considered as one entry. Only one photo will be uploaded on the site.)
  5. 5. All entries will be screened for content by the website administrator. Any photo/tag with offensive or sexual content or pertains to a competitor's products/services will automatically be disqualified and removed from the site.

III. CUT-OFF FOR EARNING RAFFLE ENTRIES AND RAFFLE DRAW SCHEDULE

Cut-off for earning entries for the monthly draws is from 12:00 AM of the 1st day of the month up to 11:59PM of the last day of the month (except for the 1st month of the promo where promo cut-off would start on November 30, 2011) starting from November 30, 2011 to August 31, 2012. Representatives from eYP, DentsuINDIO and DTI will be invited to witness the Electronic Raffle Draw for the Monthly Draw every 1st working day of the succeeding month starting on January 02 to September 03, 2012, 5:00 PM at the EYP Office, 8th Floor EcoPlaza Bldg., Pasong Tamo Ext., Makati City.

Cut-off for earning entries for the 1st quarterly draw is from 12:00 AM of November 30, 2011 to 11:59PM of February 29, 2012. Representatives from eYP, DentsuINDIO and DTI will be invited to witness the Electronic Raffle Draw for the First Quarterly Draw to be held on March 01, 2012, 5:00 PM at the EYP Office, 8th Floor EcoPlaza Bldg., Pasong Tamo Ext., Makati City.

Cut-off for earning entries for the 2nd quarterly draw is from 12:00 AM of March 01, 2012 to 11:59PM of May 31, 2012. Representatives from eYP, DentsuINDIO and DTI will be invited to witness the Electronic Raffle Draw for the Second Quarterly Draw to be held on June 01, 2012, 5:00 PM at the EYP Office, 8th Floor EcoPlaza Bldg., Pasong Tamo Ext., Makati City.


IV. ANNOUNCEMENT & NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS:

- Names of winners will be posted on the eYP website within 24 hours from date of raffle draw. Winners will also be informed via registered mail, electronic mail and telephone call. Qualified winners must claim their prizes within sixty (60) calendar days from receipt of notification. Failure to claim within the said period forfeits the winner's right over the prize with prior DTI approval and shall be forfeited in favor of DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP).


V. CLAIMING OF PRIZES:

  1. Metro Manila winners may claim their prizes from 9am-5pm, Mondays to Fridays at the eYP Office, 8th Floor EcoPlaza Building, Pasong Tamo Ext., Makati City as indicated in the electronic and registered mail. Winners shall shoulder all costs they may incur in securing their prize (Bus Fares, Taxi Fares, Gas, Parking, Meals, etc.). For provincial winners, prizes will be shipped to their registered address, free of charge.
  2. Winners must present the following when claiming their prizes:
    1. Two (2) valid IDs (SSS ID, driver's license, school ID*) with complete real name, age, gender, picture and correct address AND Original and Photocopies of any of the documents (i.e. birth certificate, marriage contract, and/or passport)
      *For school IDs, they must reflect that he/she is enrolled for the current school year, semester or term
    2. Notice sent via registered mail and electronic mail.
  3. In the event that the winner cannot personally claim his/her prize, an authorized representative may claim on his/her behalf, provided that the representative brings the following:
    1. Two (2) valid IDs of the Winner (SSS ID, driver's license, school ID*) with complete real name, age, gender, picture and correct address AND Original and Photocopies of any of the documents (i.e. birth certificate, marriage contract, and/or passport)
      *For school IDs, they must reflect that he/she is enrolled for the current school year, semester or term.
    2. One (1) valid ID of the Representative with complete real name, age, gender, picture and correct address - Original and Photocopies of any of the documents (i.e. birth certificate, marriage contract, SSS ID, driver's license, school ID and/or passport)
    3. Notice sent to the winner via registered mail and electronic mail
    4. Letter of authorization signed by the winner and the representative.
  4. Employees of DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP) and DentsuINDIO Inc. including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity are not qualified to join in the Promo.

VI. CONTROL MEASURES

Completion of Tasks

  1. Participants should upload photo entries before the cut-off period (monthly and quarterly draws) in order to qualify for a raffle coupon.
  2. An electronic raffle coupon will be given to the participant upon validation of photo/tag entries.

Determination and Verification of Winners

  1. A DTI Representative shall be invited to check the computer system for receiving entries, sending confirmation messages, assigning random computer generated raffle entries, drawing of winners, verification and testing before the promo. A copy in a diskette shall be sealed in an envelope signed by the DTI Representative for safekeeping of eYP and for verification of DTI anytime.
  2. A list of the properties of the computer program and text replies shall be printed and given to the DTI Representative after verification.
  3. During the verification, the DTI Representative shall also check the fields in the database/list of participants which shall include the following details: username, complete name, entries earned per photo/tag entry upload and a column shall be added to include the raffle numbers assigned randomly.
  4. Another DTI Representative will be invited to be present during the actual drawing of raffle winners.
  5. eYP will generate a list of qualified texters before the draw.
  6. Raffle numbers will be assigned at random to all qualified participants in the presence of the DTI Representative before drawing winners. A copy in a diskette shall be sealed in an envelope signed by the DTI Representative for safekeeping of eYP and for verification of DTI anytime.
  7. All entries shall be randomly assigned a raffle number.
  8. Winner shall be drawn one at a time, using the raffle numbers assigned at random.
  9. After the winner is drawn, it will be verified from the generated list by the Representatives from eYP and DTI.
  10. The eYP Representative shall randomly draw an entry from the system that contains all the entries.
  11. A list of the properties of the computer program shall be printed and given to the DTI Representative after each draw.

VIII. TERMS and CONDITIONS:

Participant's Rights

Participants in the above mentioned promo shall retain all copyrights and other related rights over Photos they have submitted as entries. However, the organizer, hereto known as DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP) shall posses all rights as stated in the section “Organizer’s Rights”.


Organizer's Rights

  1. DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP) reserves the permanent, nonexclusive right to publish, reproduce, display, and distribute any entries submitted on websites, photo or video exhibitions, tradeshows, or any other media deemed suitable by DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP) for the purpose of promoting the promo. In such cases where the entries are used, DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP) reserves the right to do so without obtaining further permission from the participants and without offering any further compensation in any form.
  2. DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP) reserves the permanent, nonexclusive right to allow its subsidiaries and affiliates to publish, reproduce, display, and distribute any designs, photograph or video on websites, photo exhibitions, tradeshows, or any other media deemed suitable by the said subsidiaries and affiliates, for the purpose of promoting the promo. In such cases where the designs, photographs or videos are used, DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP) reserves the right to do so without obtaining further permission from the participant and without offering any further compensation in any form.
  3. With regard to the preceding clause, DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP) its subsidiaries and affiliates reserve the right to:
    1. display some or all parts of submitted works enhanced by additional effects, such as computer graphics, sound effects or music on websites managed by the organizer, its subsidiaries and affiliates; and
    2. reproduce some or all parts of the submitted works for the purposes of producing announcement posters, tickets, brochures, etc. for photo exhibitions and other events. Participants may not exercise any copyright or personal rights to the photographs used.
  4. Should DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP) its subsidiaries or affiliates wish to publish or use a submitted design, photograph or video for purposes other than the promotion of the promo, a separate agreement will have to be made.
  5. DPC New Media Services, Directories Philippines Corporation (eYP) has the right to disqualify entries that breach the aforementioned rules, especially pertaining to the validity of the participant's personal information.
