Usually we can't decide where we want to have dinner so we try to pick a cuisine to narrow it down - it's usually a toss-up between Japanese and Mexican. So happy there's Toro so we get the best of both worlds!

Who would've thought that the mixture of Japanese and Mexican cuisine would be a hit? This isn't for everybody, though. But if you're looking to try something new, Toro's a good place to start.

There are the favorites like Sugi, Omakase and Kikufuji. But for something else, Toro is definitely a place to go! They make great Japanese dishes with a a mexican touch. I ordered the Nigiri, pan seared duck and the pork belly (this one is very Filipino though). Ambiance is great and has a nice large portrait painting.
