My family has always been a St. Luke's family - but it's the original in Quezon City we go to. While I was skeptical of the new one in Taguig because of its "profit" aura, its proximity to home, and a minor emergency caused me to check this out. Amazing! Beyond the sheen of modernity, the attention you get from the staff, from nurses, clerks and doctors is an overwhelming respite from the government-like treatment most hospitals practice like dogma. And all that open space, compared to the maze-like sprawl of the old St Luke's and Makat Medical makes you appreciate good planning. More importantly, it feels like a place for healing, rather than sickness. Good job!
